Every month, GİGDER members evaluate the house sales statistics published by TÜİK under the #ESTATETALKS series.
The Institution interpreted the sales data announced on September 15 under the title “Inclinations of International Investors in the Real Estate Market”. The conversation was organised by Fatih Ergüven, Chairman of Board at Inhouse Global and Hakan Bucak, Chairman of Board at Mars Investment. Stating that the numbers have changed a lot in the last two months although it is still around 20 per cent and flights from target countries have not started yet, Fatih Ergüven stated that, “There is a lot of demand from the countries that didn’t consider Turkey before the pandemic.” And Hakan Bucak emphasized that there have been a lot of demands from countries such as Japan, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, South Korea, Bangladesh, and Dominica. Bucak added, “There are problems in the healthcare sector of many countries. And Turkey is a shining star in this regard.”
