GİGDER (Real Estate International Promotion Association) conducted a conversatıon themed “US economy, Real Estate Investor Behaviours” under the #MarketWatch series.
Moderated by Washington Chief Commercial Counselor Mustafa Koca; the event hosted Murat Ağırnaslı, Agime Group LLC Chairman and CEO, Emel Onur, Global Ambassador to Turkey, UAE and Lebanon at National Association of Realtors and Turan Tombul, Real Estate Consultant at Remax. Mustafa Koca pointed out that Canada, Germany, England, Japan and China stood out among the countries undertaking contracting projects and said that the private sector made $ 991 billion of real estate investments in the USA, and the public $336 billion. And Emel Onur noted that the most real estate buyers in the US were the Chinese with $11.5 billion. Talking about the high number of real estate investments of the Turkish people in Washington DC, Turan Tombul pointed out that the rise of investments in the capital was linked to the direct flights of Turkish Airlines. Murat Ağırnaslı, on the other hand, stated that a business project in New York needed to receive the approval of the office of the chief prosecutor and added: “The money from the customer is kept in the escrow account and won’t be transferred to the contractor before the title deed is delivered. This system removes all concerns.”
